Anthony Cea made a comment in another thread and I thought I would debate that here because I took offense to it and so did Lazzy Hippy. Here's his quote:

"I took some cheap shots at Andrew for fun man, but it seems some of you are really serious about tearing him down for some reason, remember, he is a decent guy, not an ex-con or career criminal that was just released from San Quentin."

As most of you know, I am an ex-con and to make this claim is ridiculous. Fuck I know the stigma that follows me but as you can tell I could give a fuck and I don't have shit to hide. If I did, I wouldn't make it public that I was an ex-con. Plus if I was here to decieve or pull some shit, I wouldn't put myself out there like I do. I would just use the backdoor, pretend to be some guru and steal from people

Prison was hell but it shaped who I am today. I was one of the few that did use their time to get rehabilitated and on the right track to where I am today. I am a decent guy with a family, kids, a home and I run my own business and show. All this in just over a year.

So what the fuck do WF peeps think? Just because a guy went to prison, you wouldn't trust him?

you were busted for selling weed? I don't see anything wrong with that since I purchase weed... its like someone complaining about beef slaughter while pounding down a big mac.

On the other hand your posts are often annoying as fuck which I consider a worse offense than selling drugs.

The past is the past. If the person is trustworthy now, why not? I believe in second chances. Hell, none of us are perfect, right? But it also depends largely on what the person went to prison for (ie., if it had anything to do with 'trust' or 'confidence' crimes).

I'm trying to clean up my posts man and it's because I annoy Lerchmo is why and that's it. Because annoying posts bother me too.

I have been screwed over by friends. Friends that by all accounts are upstanding citizens.

Trust has nothing to do with the legal system or the social system. So yes, I'd say you can be trustworthy based on other things besides your prison record.

This question is a matter of "profiling" and "stereotypes".

If you're middle eastern can you be trusted or are you just a terrorist? Can a homeless person use the money you give them for food or will they just buy alcohol and crack?

Going to prison doesn't mean anything except your address changed for a little while. If you can't learn to judge people for what they truly are, not by one of their "labels" then I think you're behind a little bit. On the other hand, if someone admits they raped and killed people would I trust them? Hell no...

Every person has their own scenario...

True. I have been burned by more friends than anyone. It's funny in prison if you steal, cheat or burn people who get stabbed and in the real world and the internet it happens every second and they get away with it.
