How to fuck google's search? - Mispelled keywords not working??

OK here's my situation

One of my mini-sites are targeting misspelled keyword. I just checked the keyword today on google and it shows me this

Search for: Mispelled keyword

Showing results for "correct keyword"
Search instead for: Mispelled keyword

** my site nowhere to be found cause google is giving results for the "correct keyword"

wtf? so I'm not getting any search engine traffic? I'm in position 1 for that "mispelled" keyword and when some people search for it its not showing..

I just saw this.. SO practically speaking Mispelled keywords don't work? Please inform me brahs! What can I do now? Change target KW? any info would be greatly apprecaited!

Yes man, they dont work... Why you did not check your misspelled keyword in google before you made site?

oh fuck. yeah I did not make that google search as I do with all my sites. I'm not checking my stats that often and only check them on sescout maybe twice or once a week.. Keyword research done in keyword tool and senuke and checked later for competition in market samurai. After that straight to site creation and then backlinking... major steps i do when creating a site...

Now I think I need to add a new step which is freaking check it on google if it's a mispelled word first.. Damn! yeah my mistake and lesson learned :D glad this did not happen on my big sites and only to some mini sites that endorses my main sites.

Yeah, shit happens... Learn from mistakes and move on...

as I heard today yes.. But It did not come into my attention until I made that mistake.. simple step big difference..

I didn't have the chance to know it until today. I specifically targeted the misspelled keyword as it gives more searches than the Correct keyword. Anyways yeah My mistake. I'll just create a new page and target the correct keyword now... the minisite has PR 3 now so it's a waste if I'll not use it or just point some links to another site.

301 redirect that misspelled domain to a new site with corrected keywords structure, work much harder to rank for the correct term, profit.
 
Yep it's been like that for a while. When a user misspells a a word, Google searches for the correct word, and then gives an option "Search instead for <misspelled word>". But it's unlikely that anyone will click it.
 
Google is a lot clever when it comes to misspelled keywords. I, too, was a victim of it. Good thing I noticed it even before the link building started rolling.

there are still some opportunities here as far as misspelled KWs go, but the misspelling has to be far enough off that G won't auto-correct it. I've found a few. The only thing is, eventually, you have to assume G will fix the problem, and your traffic will vanish overnight.
