I have seen lots of polls like this in the past on lots of forums.

I haven't seen one mod, demoded after such polls.

GL.

ps: i don't know why you want what you want, and I don't have opinion on the topic.

I for one appreciate more ADULTS on WF. There's being funny and then there's being a fucking twit. Posting genuinely racist stuff or snuff pictures in unrelated threads is not funny...

I don't agree with 80% of the shit LukeP or Turbo says, but I've never found it inappropriate. Then there are some people who post so much fucked up shit that I'll actually just walk away if I knew I was talking to them at a conference.

Plus Nick's podcasts have been a great little diversion from the daily grind.

I can understand where nickycakes is coming from in wanting to clean up the forum a little, having been a member here for almost 5 years it's obvious that the quality of the forum has gone way down. Wickedfire has always been known for having an "edge" but these days everyone wants to pretend they are on 4chan and fill their down time by creating drama and controversial threads just for the sake of controversy. As a result it's driven away a lot of quality members, demotivates the remaining quality members from posting anything of value, and keeps new quality members from joining.

If I actually AM yuckystuff, does that make me part of the conspiracy?

I actually spend a lot of time browsing old threads and I'd argue most of the "quality members" you're probably referring to have either started their own communities, become superstars on the free membership at paid forum circuit, or been banned or demodded, with often various combinations thereof. I'd further argue that what distinguishes this 4chan jr with occasional seo bullshit from what existed back in your day is the culture is now dominated by seo service providers, rather than successful affiliates bragging/sharing/shooting the shit.

I mean last week I was going to post a thread about "is timeline for pages screwing up your facebook business" but I figured 80% wouldn't know wtf, and 90% of the 20% that did weren't using fb pages for CPA offers or leadgen or doing anything related to those activities, and the 10% that do don't want to talk about it because they were happier 95% of you didn't know you could iframe offers and script content lockers onto facebook pages and bang cheap traffic into them with the added benefit of being able to prepop info for anybody already logged in to fb.

What?

If you are indeed using timeline, you must have noticed that the last couple days have been better than the first week of forced timeline. At least it's been noticeable for me these last two days..
Not sure why?
maybe people are used to it more..
Or maybe FB is trying hard at making up, by increasing the impressions per post..

Also, the mail-optin location is very very convenient if you are collecting optins.. I have seen a sudden surge in opt-in too.
Also the Cover is very very conveniently located to all the FB default call to action.... Fan conversion have skyrocketed after a simple trick..
So it's not too bad after all, if you know how to adapt...

I have been testing ton of shit on a small page in the prior month before it was forced upon us..

there you go...

I think the DP-tier conversations going on everywhere besides STS is why people don't bother trying to talk shop any more- the enlightened member threads are really some of the only valuable content I could find after digging around a few pages deep in every section. Take a look at some of the threads in T&C and AM, it's just newbies talking out of their ass and 'knowledgeable' members trolling to mislead them.

I think the mod's time would be better spent purging all the shit threads to the newbie section where they belong and enforcing quality control on the non-STS boards, but I've been here for less than a year so my perspective is limited.

I think the wankery in STS is a symptom of the rest of the board deteriorating into WaFo nonsense and that clamping down on racism is missing the point, but I'm not going to get my jimmies russled about it, this boards problems aint my problems.

Didn't care much about this until he asked imgur.com to ban wf. (assuming he did...doesn't appear to be denying it).

That action screwed up a lot of threads on the site.

I was going to tell you to shut up but then I thought it would be a nice change to have a real conversation about something that was related to affiliate marketing on WF. I think most people hear the word "app" and they think it's really hard work or has something to do with programming.

I've noticed the first few days since the change, what was it March 30th or something, it wasn't the best. Like myself, I hated it but I eventually got used to it and I think that's what happening and will only get better as time goes on.

Wasn't even clever bro!
