Oh look, this thread again. To recap:
1. Buffet own Geico.
2. Being a cheapskate living in an old house doesn't make him a genius. It just makes him a cheapskate.
3. He's a socialist scumbag that plays along with the socialist president here for political favors.
4. Worst of all, this whole tax thing shows that he's a lying hypocrite. He has multiple lawsuits pending AGAINST the IRS trying to get them to not take so much of his taxes. If the sheeple only knew...

Sure, he knows a thing or two about investing... In fact there are two things in particular he knows that I'm not so happy about:
1. How to get in bed with the POTUS to further his investment goals...
2. How to fool the american public into thinking you're a nice socialist when you actually have multiple lawsuits against the IRS going at the same time trying to hold onto your cash instead.

Luke, I get what you're saying, but think about it. If he doesn't make good on his pledge to give 99% of his wealth and gets off for the taxes, he will be breaking like a million laws. Fraud, perjury among many others. You really think he would try and pull a fast one on the IRS? That's one agency you just don't fuck with.
LOL! When you have MORE resources than the IRS you can totally fuck with them. The guy has a net worth that exceeds some nations.. if I had that kinda dough I'd fuck with the IRS too.

Not sure what your definition of genius is, but investing your way to get into the top 3 wealthiest people on earth is probably enough to classify him in the outlier category in terms of ability or intelligence.
Does socialist just mean " doesn't agree with my views"?
There are smarter investors than Buffet, but there are none more patient. The result of that patience is that he's now wealthy enough to buy entire companies while "smarter" investors have to constantly chase the next hotness and compete against computers.
