I've never said it before, but I'll say it now.

I've always been impressed by the grasp of the English language in Scandinavia. Aside from Holland, very few other countries have such a widespread command of the language.

Unfortunately, many of them follow up with trying to emulate aspects of American culture for one reason or another.

All these jokes are recycled kitsch. Standard fare.

And this pisses me off. When I go see something from another country, I want to see something different and unique. I don't want to see humorous observations that are tediously repetitive in American media reflected back at me.

How about something unique.
