Alternatives To Windows Explorer

I've been using Explorer++ for awhile now and although it's better than what Win 7 gives you out of the box, it does have some bugs and limitations (no image preview for one).

I'm looking for a file manager that has both multiple tabs and offers image preview. Does anything like this exist?

+REP!!

I've tried a few others (Explorer ++ included.) and they don't quite cut it for me.

This looks like it might do the trick.

Thanks.

Two of my 3 Win 7 boxes and the laptop have SP1 on them and ever since that update I've had random Windows Explorer crashes. Reminds me of the Explorer Bug in Vista.

My Main box for some reason never did automatically take the SP 1 update and I never installed it. It gets all the SAME updates that my other 2 get though.

The other day I decided to experiment and after making a system image I manually put SP1 on the main box. It too started having the Explorer crashes so I just reverted it and it's fine now.

For like two years now I've been trying to swap out the explorer.exe file with different versions/releases of Win 7 on the two boxes and nothing fixes it.

I've rooted through the registry and even modified the shell some with no luck.

For me it happens most often when I'm accessing one of the other boxes on my network at the house. Quite frustrating to finally drill down to where something I'm looking for is and then have the damn thing crash.

So thanks again for a possible solution to my frustration.
