its actually not that hard to get to the point where you spend 15 hours a day everyday playing poker. After you have done that for a few months and depend on it to eat and pay the bills then it becomes a profession. Its a horrible way to live constantly surrounded by smoke and shady people splashed in with drunks and tourists all while stuck in some shitty casino chair.

Pretty easy to be profitable at micro stakes online. Hardly a living though.. I'm profitable up to 50NL, but beyond that start to get fucked in the ass.

Allow doing it for a career for 12 hours a day or whatever online though, would completely take the fun out of it.

Games like the one ChickenFucker is talking about are a pro's wet dream though, 8 shit players at $500 ea is $4k for the taking. I'd love to be sitting at that table.

Develop a tight aggressive game.

Go to Las Vegas

Find a poker room near a nightclub.

Sit in a game until the nightclub closes and the room is flooded with drunken idiots who think they are Phil Ivey.

Profit.

Long story short: I got totally wiped out. Was way out of my league lol. Fucking waste, but the beer was great.
