I've started treating the movies like I do TV: I'm tired of people with an agenda trying to brainwash me... Is this one pretty historically accurate, or is there some special Hollywood secret sauce thrown in there too?
it's not historically accurate at all. It's like a mix between The Matrix and Gladiator. Hollywood to the max.
I don't watch TV anymore either... goddamn commercials ruin it. In fact, TV is literally unwatchable with the amount of commercials these days. Every 2-6 minutes you get interrupted, left unsatisfied, and infuriated. Netflix FTW

ehhhh, yea.... but you can accuse everyone in the world of having an agenda. And I think you are referring to the news specifically, right? They are the ones with the agenda.
Clearly they're the worst; no doubt about it... The news is were the real propaganda is delivered.
However the programs, worst among them the reality shows and sitcoms, are some heinous stuff too! TV Execs use them to shape society how they see fit... You can feel it after being away from them for a long time, when you try to watch one after months or years without it will just feel creepy and evil to you, as if you're watching the MK-Ultra program being administered on some poor, unsuspecting fools...

I don't watch much TV, believe me. In the past 5 years, I think I have averaged maybe 1hr/week. And I didn't watch TV at all for a year or two. However, I think I have watched every movie/documentary worth seeing on Netflix Instant. I like to have something on while I work (benefits of a 24" monitor!)

I don't think it did a good job of explaining fractional reserved banking, sound money or competing currencies. It's not as simple as saying the Fed is a private bank charging interest to the state on money. That's not how the Fed works. It's owned by it's individual local Fed banks, which in turn are owned by commercial banks through forced ownership of stocks. These banks receive 6% of the banks net dividends. The real scam is in how Fiat money works. The collateral used for issuing Fed notes and bonds are the US government. The interest owed on these debts do not go nessecarily to the Federal Reserve but to any owner of the bond. But the issue of course is that the Fed uses US government money as collateral which is nothing other than taxpayer money. So when the Fed loans money to banks at 1% rate which the banks then loan to consumers at 10%+ percent, what's actually happens is that the banks are lending out the customers own money at an interest. So the state takes your money through taxes, then the fed lend it back to you at an interest, making you pay in future for your own money. It's a huge scam.
But this simplified message that the Fed charges the US interest to create money isn't entirely correct. If the government just printed money to pay for expenses it would still create inflation which is a hidden tax. Neither is a good solution. The only legit way of having money is simply allowing competing currencies backed with whatever they choose. Then people can choose the Ponzi scheme if they like or go with Bitcoin or goldbacked money, however they like.

Yes indeedy. Water, baby. History is full of major conflicts and power struggles over it. And there have been a few tense periods recently in several places in the U.S. when water ran short. Way bigger conflicts are coming. But the Rothchilds are going to own all of the water, too, so we are still screwed.

The Rothschilds gain power by using money as a weapon to gain more power, you have on the other hand criminal cartels who are much more powerful than the Rothschilds who rule with terror and fear, and they gain more power by using terror and fear as their weapon of choice.
I don't think the Mafia would have a hard time taking out the Rothschilds should they see them as a threat, they already successfully manage to get someone elected in Italy and the Mafia are extremely powerful and not a force to be fucked around with.
Relatively scarce is just a myth, it's in the interests of a lot of people to make you actually believe that, just like oil and other natural resources. But gold is only worth the goods and services that collateralize it, weird how when people produce less and consume less gold goes up.

Any arbitrary amount of fiat money can be produced with a few keystrokes to enter any number desired into the account of a bank of the government's chosing. Nothing remotely similar is possible if physical gold is involved. Or choose almost any other physical commodity. Gold is just the most convenient as it has been used as money for thousands of years.

I can't find any evidence of it. Honestly, the only reason anyone thinks that Paul isn't going to win this thing is because the MSM says so.
