Now I'll say first and foremost that the whole concept is so revolting to me that it induces my gag reflex just to think about it. But really, fuck child molesters and people who hurt children. They definitely deserve what's coming for them.

However imagine being born with such a repulsive sex drive and knowing how wrong it is. Of course you couldn't tell anyone because you'd be permanently ostracized from society. It's just your secret burden that you carry around. Damn, I honestly don't know what I'd do. I'd probably support Ron Paul.

If that's the case then you might as well accuse the entire male population with latent pedophilic tendencies. I dunno, I think that's more unlikely than it being genetically inherited. What would be the evolutionary benefit?

They're definitely born with it. I'm sure it's no different than being born gay or asexual. I pretty much can't see how anyone would be trained to like having sex with children...seems like something you are either into or not into.

No feel bad for pedo. He sick person who need to get dead. No children should be harmed by adult. I wait for my wife to come of age for to be 11 years old before wedding. If cannot wait for 11 then should be given a goat or donkey. Some donkey in my country very very talent.

i'm gonna call nurture over nature on this one. i think most people that end up pedo's have had some traumatic or weird experience in their childhood that brings them to do it.

Agreed. Many were actually molested themselves as children.
 
What I find bad about the whole thing is theres a massive difference in people looking at preteens and people looking at 16 year olds, pretty much fully developed girls but they get labelled the same.

The legal age for sex in the UK is 16, I know a guy that was 18 that fucked a 15 year old and got done for statutory rape (she was more than willing) and is now labelled a pedophile. I disagree with that. That shits ruined his whole life, sex offenders register and everything. Technically, a 16 year old fucking a 15 year old would get the same punishment in this country.

It may be state by state basis, but in the US (at least where I grew up) there is a 2 year 'grace period.' that protects you to some degree.

I think statutory rape should be relabeled something else though and treated completely different.
