i had an 18 day char that i had to suicide cause i got ported to debug forest :S

I think you can run out of it to the east of the forest for 5-10 minutes, I think the plains you have to run to the SE for an hour or so. Yea I figured that now, I have my sights set on getting a anti material rifle.
Ghillie suits are sick in this game. For some reason you can't pick up a spare to give to your buds.

Crisis- Nope, I had arma2, so I just had to buy arma2 oa, then download dayz. My friends however downloaded arma2 free, then purchased arma2 oa for $19.99 off steam, then downloaded dayz. I think if you want hi res in some textures you need arma2 full, which you can buy arma2 and arma2 oa for 29.99 bundle on steam. Also, use Six updater to streamline updating etc.
