She's pregnant

Thanks, Dan.

THANKS A LOT.

This news is much more popular than it would normally be because she's hot and intelligent at the same time.. but mostly because she's hot. They are showing huge pics of her in all the major news organizations and we click on it to view the little hotty. Normally regular Joes wouldn't be giving two shits about who the next Yahoo CEO is.. only people interested in business news.

It's a critical move for Yahoo and the same Mayer.
Yahoo is a media oriented company, and she has contributed to make Google a product oriented company.
What will be the change for Yahoo? More product oriented, better media oriented or the definitive end?

No? Tell me more about the Bing Yahoo partnership or perhaps a few good links where I can read more infos on it.

Microsoft adCenter Agencies and Advertisers FAQs

Q: In regard to my sites listing within organic results, will it be identical on Yahoo! Search and Bing?

A: For your site’s listing, the Bing engine will provide Yahoo! Search with your page title, description, URL and any quick links. Yahoo! must use the page title and URL, but can truncate the description and either use, suppress or replace the quick links that are provided. If you have used Yahoo! Search Monkey to use structured data that makes your Yahoo! Search result more useful, visually appealing and effective, those enhancements will continue to automatically appear even after Bing is providing the results.

You might also experience other differences as Yahoo! Search and Bing each enhance their results with other helpful information and may choose to display it differently. Example: Bing provides the five nearest stores to the searcher, whereas Yahoo! Search displays just the closest store and its hours of operation. In this way, your site listing will always have some information that is consistent across both Yahoo! Search and Bing, but it is also likely to have some content that differs, as well.[/QUOTE]

How Yahoo! and Microsoft will work together:

  • Microsoft will acquire an exclusive 10-year license to certain Yahoo! search technologies.
  • Microsoft will manage the technology platforms that deliver the algorithmic (powered by Bing) and paid (powered by adCenter) search results.
  • Full implementation of the terms of the search alliance is expected to occur within 24 months following regulatory clearance.
  • Yahoo!’s Sales team will exclusively support high volume advertisers, large SEO and SEM agencies, and premium resellers, and Microsoft will support self-service advertisers, small boutique agencies and resellers. In addition, Microsoft adCenter will be the platform for all search campaigns.
