My brother and I are really into space & astronomy. A few days ago he told me something pretty shocking - That there was valid proof that NASA had accidentally detonated a 100 kiloton nuclear bomb on Jupiter in 2003. I laughed, but after I read his proof was pretty shocked as the physics & information are quite solid.

Check it out here.

I know this isn't the forum for it, but social shares/likes would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know. It's a relatively valid arguement, but a relatively valid argument can be made with pretty much anything.

I wouldn't count on the black spot having to do with NASA. We know so much less about space than we think we know. It could be anything causing those marks.

The marks have only been on Jupiter at one other time - Due to a asteroid collision. At that time, we had many months warning that it was going to take place. This happened and 'shocked' NASA because they couldn't explain it. Several months beforehand, several physicists said this very thing would happen to Jupiter, and it did, as they predicted.

Dude from the scale of that spot which is about the size of Earth you'd probably need like a 10000 megaton bomb to get this result.

Just a tip for your site... The text you are using is incredibly hard to read and hurts my eyes. You might want to make it bigger or try a different font!

Yeah agreed... light text/dark bg is always a no-no, though I suppose I do understand it given the theme of your site. IMO you're probably better off making it black text/white bg anyways. Think of your visitors' eyes, here!

Also navigating your site is pretty clunky. But I'm guessing it's a new site so you'll get it worked out. Other than that I like it - I fuckin' love space!

Had it for over a year, the goal has/was to make it dynamic. Each time you load a new page, a new HD background gets loaded, most are black backgrounds.

We sort of need the black & white font like it is, but the support from the theme author has been TERRIBLE in trying to fix things and make it look better. We released the site a year ago, didn't do much with it, I threw GA on it a month ago and realized we were getting some SEO traffic, so that renewed my interests to work on the site more.

You misunderstand the concept of proof. What you mean to say is he makes a compelling argument; which is false as he does not. He sees a spot, calls it result of a bomb, then creates a time line in place of proof. Not compelling.

You PAID for that shit? Maybe you've been standing a bit close to some fallout yourself...
