Colorado shooting victim on James Holmes: ‘I forgive him with all my heart’



I roll my eyes at the "Can I pray for you" bullshit. Still, the guy has a great attitude.

He has the right to be bitter and hateful all his life, but all it will do is raise his blood pressure and create unhappiness.

Let's not give the guy too much credit here.

Crazy white guys get Christian forgiveness for their crimes. White, nuts, possible convert. "Let's be nice to him."

Crazy muslims get drone attacks. Brown, also nuts, but already has a religion. "Crush them all"

That article wouldn't have existed if the shooter was named Durka.

I know some won't agree with me on this, just a hunch.

I had my face bashed in by a complete stranger when I was 17. Broken jaw and all that shit. Sucked, but meh. Didn't press charges or anything.

Guy got his though, lol, ended up in the army. Ha. Karma ftw. I'm very much a 'meh, let it ride' kinda person - shit is rarely worth getting all hot and bothered about.

You can pray for him all you want bro, but it won't change a fucking thing, aside from your own peace of mind.

If this victim really wants to make a positive change, maybe he should focus on how destructive his religion is. A religion that teaches little children, those with the most susceptible of minds, that they will burn in hell until the end of time if they disobey some ridiculous rules in a book.. rules in a book that they can't even comprehend.

Is it any wonder that Holmes was a Christian?

yeah man, I really did need to stop playing video games and stop mass murdering people IRL when i was a young'n. All of that doom, quake, heretic, call of duty, battlefield just made me a rampant fucking mass murderer.

It is possible to forgive and let go without it having anything to do with praying or religion. How many meaningless never-going-to-happen arguments do you have in your head in the shower? So many people do that shit all day if you ever just take 20 or 30 minutes to pay attention to the thoughts in your head most of them are wasting time arguing or working on solutions to problems that don't exist. Imagine if you had to say all of these on a tape recorder then let it playback all day you would get tired of that shit really quick and throw it away after hearing it over and over. At some point let the shit go...

If someone punched you in the face 30 years ago unjustified and you are still mad about it that's your fucking fault not theirs.

I've always wondered, what did people blame tragedies like these on prior to FPS games? Cowboys and Indians? Rock and Roll? Lee Harvey Oswald?
