Just got off the phone with my best friend from HS, let's call him J. He went straight to community college, got an IT a.s. and has been working his ASS off every single day since he was 18 and he rose through the ranks..hard. Started as a low tech and finally he's being groomed for upper management. Yes, he busts his ass and is the nicest guy I know.

Guess what, the second he told his wife, she handed him the divorce papers. Turns out she's been spreading her legs for a loser thug wannabe gangsta for the last 1.5 years and her lawyer told her to wait till J got the promotion because it'll be easier to get higher alimony payments.

Can you believe this shit?? She's a stay at home mom with a 3 year old so basically he'll have no life after this. What could he possibly do in fucking liberal states like MA? It's simply ridiculous.

Don't you EVER fucking get married. If you really "love" her and she feels the same way, cohabitate. There is no point in getting married at all. There is

NO

benefit to getting married in the US.

obviously this won't happen to the majority of us... I got married and introduced my wife to Internet Marketing 2 years ago. Now we work together at home. I work separately ofcourse, I work in the living room while she stays in her own work room from 7am to 7pm. So most Internet Marketers are working home and have their wife in the same house every fucking day... chances are very slim..

This wouldn't happen if the guy picked up a good and serious woman, which is hard to find of course, but are well worth the wait.
 
hmm, speaking from experience a lot of states are now no fault so it doesn't matter what caused the divorce.

also, alimony is a bitch.

I disagree with alimony (i agree with child support as long as it's fair) but why all the hate on marriage? I don't think that marriage is a necessity but if you find a good women I see no reason not to marry her. You can't live in fear your whole life of a women screwing you over. If a women is going to screw you over, she'll do it whether your married or not because she's probably a manipulative bitch anyway.
 
Just tell him to quit his job, then spend the remaining money on hookers before the divorce is final.

if u think this kinda shit doesnt happen in asia, you will be mistaken. singapore is famous for its women charter. it gives women the upper hand. further, there is no prenuptial agreement here, so your ass for sure will get raped in divorce court.

p.s. i dont know about other asian countries.

It's a 2 way street, if you can't do the time, don't do the crime. He (not having foresight) banged a worthless chick, she got the better of him, life is full of hard lessons.

lol I dodged some bullets myself as a kid. My mom would always instill clarity by stating things like "if you don't wear a condom, you'll be supporting her for life", etc.

Which was right, the chick(highschool sweetheart) ended up getting pregnant within a month of us breaking up, and now has 3 as a stay at home mom. We're even facebook friends.

My girlfriend now and I have lived together for 7 years, I think marriage is dumb. We're domestic partners through her work so I get her benefits (health insurance, dental) and she makes twice as much as I've ever made, just shy of 6 figure. But she didn't when we met, she is just smarter than me, had a degree, and is more competent at everything, than me.

So your buddy should have looked for a quality chick rather than an easy fuck. :P Also he'd be paying child support even if he never married her. Fucked regardless in that situation, but that situation isn't some random scenario, the laws were defined before he fucked her, he should have been wary.
