'how to steal someone else's website INCLUDING THE SALES PAGE and make a gazillion in like 4 hours'.

There must be some lil' clone factory somewhere churnin' these wanksters out 10 per hour.

What I don't get is this - If you really read the sales letter it's pretty easy to know what frickin technique they are trying to hype up.

This is what is really crazy about the whole thing - has anyone else noticed this? - the whole "ebook" thing seems to now be all about entertainment.

Look at how Site Stealer was promoted. It's hard to believe some people's lives are so PATHETIC that they get some kind of sick pleasure buying these snake oil ebooks.

Look around the different forums on the net, some of these tools have been buying "get rich quick online" ebooks for years.

Now that is frickin' sick.

Although I guess, if you really think about it, it's not much different than people who get pleasure from buying a music CD, a movie on DVD, a fiction romance novel, US Weekly, etc,etc, etc. The list goes on and on.

All just goes to show you that when you break it all down we (as humans) do some pretty fucked up (albeit interesting) things.


EDIT - I know it's a Wickedfire thing to hate ebooks, but I have to say on a personal level I find the whole psychology of ebooks, especially get-rich-quick ebooks, absolutely fascinating.

I guess that makes me just as fukked up as everyone else.

So you think saying I find the whole PSYCHOLOGY of people who buy ebooks "fascinating", that somehow is "one step from promoting the ones you find "most Interesting"."

I agree. You can sum up the whole "ebook" by saying - "Do some research, see what works, learn from it, duplicate it for your business."

Thats the part I don't get. It's almost like people get so caught up in the "entertainment" part of it, they buy the crap.

The other part I don't get is how they don't instantly go, "man, this sucks, I want a refund!"

One more thing - I'm willing to bet they spent twice as much time on the salesletter and the stupid "fagedabattit" videos they made for this POS. that in itself cracks me up.....
