I was thinking it would be cool to start a sort of "club" of webmasters. We could all have eachother's chat details etc, and help eachother out. I'm also interested in making a free program for a private club of people. It would notify everyone using it of new "notifications", which would be used to do stumble, digg, etc exchanges.

Is anyone interested in something like this? I'd like to have some contacts for when I run into snags. I also want to note that please no complete noobs/idiots. I could crap a program out like I said above in a day, if there's enough interest. I'd also maybe like to add a private irc chat client to it, which would be nice.

That's the value of networking. All you're trying to do is "fraternize" the process. Just make friends with people online that have similar business interests as you and you will have what you are looking for. You don't have to be exclusive about it. Some of those "complete noobs" that you're automatically excluding may have a very good sense of "real world" business experience that translates well into the online world.

I didn't mean for it to sound like I want to make it "exclusive", but I don't see a reason to openly release it so everyones Digg etc accounts get banned. I just wanted a small group of people that will actually all communicate and be loyal in helping eachother out on the social sites
 
What makes you think we don't already have that? Notice the Private Section at the bottom of the forums index? Yah. Thats what it is. Obviously its invite only so good luck getting in... I can't remember the last time Jon added someone to the group.
