Surprise surprise: not a mention of Spain on the front page of foxnews.com or cnn.com right now.

edit:
lo-fucking-l - not even on their World News pages.

Sadly the source of the problem exists here too and will be much worse than spain's version soon.

Evolutionvision; When you leave, you probably should go to somewhere like the moon because this debt problem and the sharia law problem following on it's heels are both going to be everywhere within a few short years.

Nothing much, just peasants that do not understand that Spain's economy is suffering right now and that they need to tighten the belts a little bit as there is not enough money.

A little bit ??? 52% of ppl under 25 without a job or any type of economic support and then they spend 45 millions on an aeroport that receives 1 flight per week, or that spain has more official cars than the US ?

Cmon men !!!

Austerity and Riots...

It's about a few different things from what I'm gathering. Mostly the peasants not realizing that they can't have free money anymore. But, it's also has a lot to do with the fact that the government is WAY too big and they know it, the government is very corrupt here in a kind of weird non-bribing way. The police here are also very bad to locals (I'm American). They hand out insanely high tickets for absolutely everything to the natives. And for the cherry on top in general the Spanish are terrible workers. It's just a slower way of life here.

@Luke: The moon is too cold. I know you will fully endorse my next stop of Thailand in a couple of weeks though.

We are ALL peasants, unless you got a trillion bucks. Never forget that.

Going to Spain in a month myself.
