Fuck that. So if there are 4 dead pixels in one of the surrounding areas you're boned.

My Dad bought one of those, it was worth every penny, it easily competes with my Apple Cinema 27" and my Dell Ultrasharp.

I'm so fcking psyched over this. I can get 3 for the price of one Apple. If I were into gaming would definitely set it up as eyefinity or what they call that display where they're linked.

Bump,

Right now i'm thinking about my new screen setup and planning to get some sweet IPS.

Any of you guys recommend going for these or is there a better solution ? I have a preference for 27" screens. Thanks !

Was interested until I saw their policy on defective units.

I want a monitor, not a lottery ticket...

IPS is the shit tho. You won't even believe how yellow your whites are until you've seen it side by side.

While it's on topic... Can someone who knows about monitors tell me what's wrong with this one ( LG 27EA33V-B 27in Widescreen IPS LED LCD w/ HDMI at Memory Express ) ?

It's going to be like $200 tomorrow as a daily deal, and I don't know what all those numbers mean. It seems crazy cheap, so I'm just wondering what I'm sacrificing compared to a $600 or $1000 screen.

Cheers!

edit: Just noticed the resolution is 1920 x 1080, might be low for a 27 inch? Halp

In my experience asian sellers ship the fastest. I've had items delivered to europe in less than 5 days with regular mail (non fed-ex).

I bought a bunch of shit and they kept saying it was delayed or shipped late then it never came and ebay said you only have 30 or some bullshit days to dispute it. I couldn't even leave a negative review for the company that ripped me off.

This. Electronics are a huge nono from anywhere in Asia. As for shipping times they are fast to Europe and painfully slow to north america. I've had shipping times of 45 days+ never ever again.

They know you are super far away and give zero fucks about customer service.

That 45 day shipping time and 30 day return policy makes me feel like someone is rebilling all over my face.

Sounds like you fucked yourself, pal. My shit got here just fine.

If you're in the EU you have a different law than the US and I'm sure ebay operates within that law.

In EU a buyer has 7 day refund policy no questions asked for non perishable items. In US if it says all sales final you're fucked even if you get something completely different than you ordered.
