Some are full martial law, some have curfews and the like.


No big surprise though. 7+ million without power, most of whom didn't prepare for the possibility of weeks or even months without power, food, shelter or water. It has the possibility to get MUCH nastier.

Like I've said in other threads, people don't prepare for things. Now some, quite sadly, have died because they made those choices. Some will die in the future as well.

It's a good time to be prepared, as well as to be armed.

All areas will recover, be afraid of economic disasters or nuclear ones, bad weather lasts 5 or 6 days.....bad economic crisis can last a decade.

The same US laws, court systems and political structure are still in place throughout the entire country. Just like with Katrina, some of the media and others are using the term "martial law" without actually understanding what that would imply.
 
I didn't watch the video, but I live in a town on Long Island that got hit fucking hard. There ain't no martial law here. The national guard has just been sitting on corners cracking jokes while old lady's pass by them dragging their life's possessions. The cops/national guards are in place to "prevent looting."

Clearly you're a government disinformation agent. We all know that Sandy was a superstorm created by the US Government to test out their ability to impose martial law. Or something.
 
I like speculating about government conspiracies...said noone ever.

One of my preparations for the "frankenstorm" was to make sure I never watch Fox News cuz that shit cray
 
This is the type of reason why we can no longer have civilized discussions.

"Martial law is now in place, destroy all government institutions and leave free in anarchy, Obama is drone attacking our babies, Obama is kidnapping our citizens off the streets without charge!"

If people would stay within the confines of reality, it'd make it a little easier to discuss shit.
