Depends on how much trouble you want to get into ;o)

The corner of Main and Hastings is always exciting if you want to take in some of the local wildlife. Drugs and sex you can buy on most street corners and alleys. Brandi's has good strippers. Cupcakes is yummy and I think we have every type of cuisine here known to mankind. Stanley park is nice which also has the Aquarium there along with all the downed trees from the storms this past winter. There's Playland/PNE. Lots of ocean here if you want to take that in along with treed areas. The Grouse Grind. Suspension bridges. If the ferries weren't so unreliable this summer, i'd suggest a trip over to victoria on vancouver island. we also have casino's and lots of hemp stores.

There's really lots to do here and lots of trouble you can get into. Also lots of places to take the kids and scenery to take in. What type of stuff you into doing?
 
Hopefully the city won't stink when you get here and the garbage will be picked up by then. City workers here have been on strike for over 3 weeks now.

And thanks for the reminder John! Make sure you check your bed for bed bugs. Don't let the bed bugs bite!

Well, Robson Street is good as well! You missed the fireworks though! Stanley Park is also a classic if you just want to chill! I agree the Ferries are really UNRELIABLE, but still nice scenery! Steamworks seems like a classic. As well as Granville Street.

There is always more but just to throw out a few!
 
are the hookers clean?
jk...the hemp shops sound interesting though. I don't smoke too often but the pot we get here is mostly dirt, so I definitely wanna check out the "VC Bud"
How'r the beaches? I'm an adrenaline junkie,, too bad the ski resorts are closed in the summer.

The fireworks are long over before the end of August.

I'd recommend checking out kits beach during the day on the weekend if you wanna see some nice ass.

Checkout harbour center downtown and get a nice view of the skyline. Ummm... There are a lot more things to do during the day in Vancouver vs at night. Our night life really licks. If you do wanna checkout our shitty night life just hit Granville at night and you'll see a billion people waiting in line to get into a lot of bad clubs ;)

Stanley..don't forget to check out Stanley Park! Cypress mountain lookout, shabusan BBQ house, and the amsterdam cafe. If you want to smoke AAA and AAAA marijuana gimme a PM when you're down here. I'm always stocked with the best weed from the compassion club!

If you're an adrenaline junkie see if you can get up to whistler for some downhill biking. I was just there for crankworx (Kokanee Crankworx :: Whistler BC Canada :: July 21-29) and it was insane. I haven't had that much fun on a ski hill in a long time.
