Not really. The fight was exciting for like 2 seconds of each round until GSP decided it was not safe enough and would just take it to the ground to finish every round for the points.

Hopefully GSP takes the Silva fight and gets mauled. But, then again, Silva doesn't have the best TTD and we all know GSP isn't going to fuck with Silva's standup for even a second. So the Silva fight will probably be another lame ass lay and gay point fest for GSP.

He was going for it for 4 rounds dude. You don't understand the subtleties of the game obviously. I don't care for St. Pierre fights most of the time either... he WAS fighting different this time. He wasn't just shadow boxing and going for the takedown like he has for the last 8 or so title defences.

was a pretty bloody fight. Finally GSP is fighting again... like everyone else I've been bored with him too
 
Definitely a more exciting fight than before! But fuck, it's not GSP's fault no one can match his skill. No one can block his takedowns. also you can see that his opponents are alway scared of him in the octagon. Wd definitely need a Silva fight but even then it might be a decision game...

Why are you hating on a winning strategy? Is the primary goal of UFC to knock someone out or win a fight? There was a lot of good fighting in that match and a lot of blood; it was entertaining. He's not undefeated which means there's always a chance for him to get knocked the fuck out (which almost happened), so the match wasn't boring at all.

Also idk why you'd ever pay $50 for a UFC fight when you can go to any decent bar and watch it for free.

I know! When GSP got kicked in the dome I was like AHHH SHIIIIT SONNN! Condit almost had him.
