now what I want to know is wtf is wrong with you to think that is cruel and unusual punishment? he's a fucking rapist douchebag, I think he should be hung by his nutsack and then get the lashings. Rapists are scum and we shouldn't waste tax dollars housing and feeding them imo.

What's your problem? Can't you debate like an adult? Or is your point so weak, inexcusable and indefensible that you have to resort to name calling to remain relevant?

Preventing prison rape and murder (and the stuff that you advocate which can only be described as torture) isn't some idealistic UN human rights convention BS, it's just common human decency.

The people who commit these types of crimes usually serve long prison sentences. I have no problem with that. That is the debt they must pay for breaking society's norms/ rules/ laws etc. But they shouldn't have to worry every time they step out of their cell that they are only moments away from an ass- rape or violent death.

And let's not forget about the numerous cases of false convictions. BTW, if I was falsely accused of a crime like this, I would prefer the 20 lashes in a 3rd world prison in Malaysia over a violent death at the hands of another prisoner in a cold soul- less prison in the United States.
 
I follow this motto, "If you want respect you give respect". He didn't show much respect to the person he raped, so I could care less about the punishment he received. If he didn't do it, I feel for him. I do respect human rights but there are somethings that really piss me off. Rape is somewhat near the top of my list. The person he violated has to live with that emotional and physical pain for the rest of her life. I wonder how you would react if he raped your child or someone you cherised

I wonder how their re-offending rates compare to the west? If it works then maybe it is a better than prison.... maybe.

Would we see it a civilised...? probably not.

Although it is certainly more civilised than the hypocrisy of a system where one man commits murder, spends 30 years on death row then is murdered by the state, yet another man orders the death of thousands... and remains in power.
 
The prison sentences sex offenders serve are isolated from other criminals (because the homies have children or sisters or mothers too) and we pay for there food and shelter. You really feel like thats enough?

I just want you to look at how graphic and traumatizing a serious sex crime is and tell me what we do currently to sex offenders is enough?
If its a repeat offender or a violent sex crime, I say castration is a great solution. It says it perfectly... you can't handle your nuts so you lose them.

And false conviction? Why have you been falsely convicted twice? Why did they find your jizzum in that litte girl or boy? Im only saying for really hardcore cases castration is an option.... but it damn well should be...just an option.

I personally know girls that were victims of sex crimes in there youth and girls that were raped as young adults.... your telling me that years in jail was a decent sentence? I could get that for growing pot.... retarded

You political reference at the end of your diatribe is boring at best Lazy. I am tired of ultra lefties always equating what is going on in the world or cultures with the Bush Administration.

My qualms are with people like Toolohen who don't seem to want to recognize that there are evil individuals who forfeit their rights when they commit acts against the rest of the social community(rape,murder,armed robbery,etc).

As for US foreign policy around the world, I am sure I will be in the minority with those who disagree with my President. However, I see what he is doing as impacting the world for the positive over a longer time period as opposed to what the instant results oriented society of today sees.

As for the rapist, Toolohen, you find the authorities of Malaysia wrong for caning a scum of society; however, you are willing to allow other deviants(the prisoners) to provide a measure of justice? How is that promoting an orderly society?
