So other than Shark Tank which we all love, what else do you watch? As much as I love Dexter, Homeland, and Breaking Bad... I don't see myself becoming a serial killer, CIA agent or major meth distributor in the near future. On the other hand, I can see myself buying real estate, purchasing stocks, and running my business more effectively.

I mean that show is true right? I'm not at all skeptical that people would store antique firearms or fabrege eggs along with their cat piss encrusted rent-to-own 30 year old furniture.

You don't have to live like any of these characters, but you can steal personality traits to make yourself a better person.

Example: Even though Dexter is a fictional character, I admire his ability to keep his mouth shut, stay observant and aware. I could definitely benefit from choosing my words more carefully.

But, if you insist on more relate-able shows, the History Channel Short Series: "The Men Who Built America" is pretty cool. Shows you how to exploit ideas, people, and opportunity to get crazy rich. (I think there is a thread somewhere about it)

CNBC also has some good shows about start ups and business. One in particular is "How I Made My Millions".

Or you can watch any dumbass reality show and be inspired to not be like the people on them.

Man vs Wild... I personally got a lot of useful survival tips for it. And it actually made me think about what i'm willing to do to survive. Its good shit +dude has a british accent and you cant beat that
