Das Keyboard FTW

Is getting a good mouse also worth it? I'm using a cheap piece of shit, you guys got me wondering about upgrading that too.

Absolutely.

I use this mouse (MX Revolution) and it is awesome. It always feels like I'm working at 75% capacity when I have to use a shitty mouse.

I love the fact that it uses lithium ion incorporated battery + charger stand. I'm going to upgrade my mouse too. I'll keep looking for now.

I was looking at:

But it has no scroll wheel! That is not right. I'm really liking this one though:

A lot of ergo guys like Ben are hesitant to spend the money on one, which I think is a little stupid. Go down to Best Buy, they have some razor gaming ones, use it for a week or two, if you don't like it return it.

Everything you need to know:
Mechanical Keyboard Guide

It's the position of the hands that mess up my wrists :( very little to do with how much force required to strike a key. I bought my fiancee a Razer Black Widow Ultimate for xmas so I'll get to test it out in a few weeks

I didn't think so either before and I had the same issue. Don't know if you don't give it a try right? Make sure you have some sort of wrist rest, part of the keyboard or otherwise and have you desk/chair set at a proper height.

I can't promise, just saying what did it for me. Donno if you weight lift, but that might have played in my wrists getting better. I can just speculate I guess which why it'd be nice to have some of you other weak wrist motherfuckers try it out and stop being pussys.

Yeah the microsoft keyboard has a built in wrist rest so if only that was mech, would be perfect. I'll test after Christmas on my fiancee's mech keyboard.

I lift weights too and that helps.. but after a night of intense gaming, can't lift shit cuz wrists kill lol

Hi guys,

I am ordering my new PC system and
a new mouse and keyboard set
with it.

From what I've read, cordless keyboards and mouses
are a POS. Battery, reaction type (though I am not
a gamer), ...

With cordless, the only pros I see
are, that you can sit on your bed/couch etc.
when you are watching movies.

What do you prefer, when 80% of
your time is spend working?
Meaning coding, photoshoping,
videoediting, writing?

I use the G700 and I literally could not live w/o it.

This is the greatest mouse.

And, speaking of Cherry MX switches, they come nowhere near the quality of the almighty Topre switches. If you feel like spending $300 on a keyboard, the quality blows everything else out of the water. I can't live without mine... it's solved all of my finger pain issues as well due to the soft bottoming out compared to cherry switches.

Putting the g700 and a Das Keyboard on my list ( with cherry blues ) at Amazon. Gonna grab 2 each since I have home and work desktops

Thanks

Logitech Performance MX... its the super version of the ones everyone else is posting. The main difference is the "darkfield" laser tracking... read and learn and buy and love!
