Skype and Windows 8

I am curious about you guys that are running windows 8 and skype, and how you actually made it happen? For the life of me I can't seem to download it and add it to my apps.

Retarded question is retarded I know, but I haven't been able to get into my favorite chat room for ages and there are other people I would like to catch up with and it's driving me fucking nuts.

I literally just used Skype app for Windows in the Windows Store then I searched for the app in App search and pinned it to the Desktop.

Haven't had any issues since.

Why use an app? Just download the regular program, install it, and use it the same way you have been for years.

I tried using the Skype app for Windows 8 for a few days but it was absolutely horrible. The interface is prettier, but their is much less functionality. However, they finally built in spell check. Drew Myers would like that.

This if you use the new UI, if you run in Desktop mode like I do, just grab the windows 7 version installer from the skype site.
