Does anyone have a job that they like?

I have not encountered many stories or situations whereby people in the affiliate marketing / seo business are also happily employed in a job that they have no intention of quitting even if they were ballin.

And so is the question, do you have a job that you do not intend to quit, but still work on the side doing internet stuff as along term hobby?

It is very much my situation, just wondering if it's anyone elses...
 


There are many people love their jobs although they find out opportunities in online business or internet marketing. Other people don't like their jobs and want to jump to other jobs. All depends on person and also job kinds.
 
The job? No.

The life it provides? Yes.

If I do things properly, my job in 3 months? Most definitely, I'll love my work then, and it'll be a great challenge.

Really though, hating your work is hardly contained to the online IM crowd. That's about 99.5% of the world's population.
 
I love this lifestyle. I've got to work with so many cool people, just from this lovely forum.
 
Although, I will say, the colloquial usage of the word "Job" is pretty fucking depressing in America.

You have to look at it like this: Job > Business > Lifestyle

I HAVE to do something different that sit in front of the computer all day every day. Job, hobby or whatever something has to be created physically with my hands or I would go insane. In one state me and a buddy fabricate weird stuff. 4 wheel drive, 4 wheel steer, 6 speed go cart frames around motorcycle engines. Or build geodesic domes and earth sheltered dwellings - greenhouses. Experiment with solar and geo thermal. Anything that seems interesting atm. Bought a backhoe front end loader last year. It's like a huge Tonka toy. It's even yellow. Me and the boy love digging gigantic holes for some reason. Not sure why really.

In another state I have a fiberglass repair business that handles boats, jet skis repairs and some custom mold work. IM pays the bills and creates a cushion to make and experiment with stuff. Not sure if any of that qualifies as a job but IM by itself would be a limited life from my pov.
