Criticism isn't a bad thing and his blog post wasn't really that anti-Eli.

I think his biggest criticism was valid, which is that is a lot of the BlueHatSEO posts are too complex for most affiliate wannabes making $3/day.

It seems like whiny-bitch link bait from a guy who reads John Chow and Super Affiliate Mindset instead of making money.
 
It's a lame attempt at linkbait. Look at the guy's other posts...."why this won't work and why that won't work".
 
Example why this guy is an idiot:

His post about "getting backlinks" says that two INEFFICIENT methods of getting links are spamming blogs and social bookmarking. He says social bookmarking is dumb because most of the sites never get indexed by google. I guess this retarded never thought of pinging the URLs with links to his sites.

He then lists only 2 effective methods of driving links: link exchanges and buying links... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I'm not that great at driving backlinks but in the words of Dax Flame... ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

I like how he says the posts are too advanced, but then criticizes the biggest post written specifically for newbs. And the marketing aspect of the screensaver (screensaver bud, not wallpaper) project is spelled out line for line, it's not some arcane process. I'm a newb and I easily get the 300+ downloads a day. If anything it's the monetization part that is harder than it's made to sound.
 
hehe the thing is... it doesnt matters if posts from eli work if you do it 1:1 straight with a domain/site whatever... the point is that eli can think galaxies away outside the box and make you think about many things you wouldnt recognize... he inspired me on many things i coded.

thats what counts for me and thats why i love his blog.
 
yeah, he's definitely given a lot of good ideas for programs. and if you can't code them, tough shit. the blog is definitely going to be over the head of some people, but they shouldn't be reading it.
