I want to know if Jill Whalen of High Rankings is a scammer or Fraud. I am looking to get started with this Internet Marketing thing. I have read countless number of internet marketing bibles, but still I am unable to comprehend meanings of most of things I read.

I am looking to get a course which could teach me some web tactics like indexing page in google, submitting site map to google, etc.

I found a course on her website which is for $2800.

Standard SEO Site Audit Consultation:

•How the pages of your website are viewed by search engines.
•The crawlability of your website’s navigation.
•The indexation of the pages of your website.
•The types of keyword phrases being targeted.
•HTML tagging and code.
•The use of additional domains.
•Duplicate content issues.
•Internal linking through text and image links.
•Content issues.
•Sitemaps.
•Site architecture considerations.
•Google Places Pages for local search.
•404-error pages.
•Your Google Analytics
•Your Google Webmaster Tools
•Linking and Social Media Review

Due to their popularity and the personalized attention Jill gives to each of these audits, the turnaround time is currently 4-6 weeks.

$2800.

I personally think all this information is free and available everywhere so I am not getting motivated enough to send her $2800.

Also her websites reads she is doing SEO since 1995, but as far as I know Google went live in 1997.

Please let me know if Jill Whalen is a scammer. Thank you.

They say it's wrong to judge a book by it's cover, but I don't think I will trust this person for SEO.

How is offering a service with a clear price a scam? Also, Yahoo came before Google, in 1995.

your considering to buy a 2800 dollar product while you can always see those kind of information in forums. I'd rather spend it to things like building your own network.

I would spend that $2800 some where else. Use another guru, build a network. Most of the information is free right on forums. If you just want basics like submitting a sitemap, Google's own site has information on that.
