BlogHue Review - Buyer Beware - Product Not As Advertised

Ps- to be forward, there's no way in hell I could offer that as a service for $55 with buildout content. I think managing expectations for similar is important. Just a thought.

Agree with this. We've done this service for agency customers before and we would charge much more than $55, but we also don't have any issues delivering on time and good quality.

If you raise your prices, not only would you probably make more money, but you're customers would probably also be happier because you have some margin to scale up more people in case things get hectic.

Wp setup PLUS articles AND Web 2.0 for fiddy fye dolla? Srs???

Droplister, I have a lady that does site setup (no build out content, but logo, welcome, about, etc.. Looks really good) for me almost part time. To help both of you out, I can have her do one or two of your blogs free of charge if you're in a time crunch.

PM me and I'll have you completed this weekend.

I paid $78 per blog, but I don't contest your point. You get what you pay for. I never expected solid gold. However, I do expect a company to deliver on a product to their own specifications within the timeframe they promise.

I'm very flexible, I installed Wordpress on all the domains myself to help facilitate the project. After 2 months I would expect at least 1 finished to spec. My expectations were reasonable. Simple type logo, theme installed, custom about page, any amount of articles posted with images, and a twitter account. If only that were accomplished on each site I would be happy as a clam.

And some comments have pointed out that that's what you get when you outsource, but this is different than odesk. Bloghue represents itself as a business. And as you can see here with his response, he treats it that way.

My final thoughts on this: don't offer a service if you cannot deliver.

I don't agree with your final thoughts but that's ok it doesn't matter what I think anyways. Just saying, he came good on his service in the end, I thought. Shit happens and he did the best I think he could to handle it.

Question... did the OP buy from a thread advertised on the marketplace here or was this from someone promoting outside of that area?

But he hasn't delivered YET, huh?

P.S. Someone most of you know, and Jon's homosexual life partner, also had issues with him.

I always pay after completion for this type of stuff, so I didn't "lose" anything but:

Bloghue seems like a good guy in general & may have gotten better but YMMV
