Been talking to a couple of the people I know in the UK who are WF'ers, and we thought it'd be cool to get a UK skype chat going / arrange the odd meet-up in London or something at some point?

We can talk bizness, how much we hate the EU, our love for the Great British Pound, taxes, the nhs and the benefit system. Oh, and of course the weather:

Yep - trying to organise a get together at the LAC sometime between 7th -> 9th.

Got a pretty good group going on in the chat, ~8 of us so far. Please don't ask to join if you're not based in the UK at least semi-permanently, there's a load of other Skype chats going on that are more general in terms of location, and I won't reply - it's nothing personal, but I've had a few PM's from people all over the place that want an invite, and it defeats its whole purpose (i.e. a group of local people to network with fairly regularly/can meet up/perhaps even organise workspace shares or whatever else ends up going on).

Also - if you don't have any posts on WF, please explain what you do and why you should be part of the group etc.. We're trying to keep the quality in the group up, and so are looking through past posts etc of people we're not sure on.
 
How are the xAC events these days, growing or in decline? I last went to BAC a few years ago when I was neck deep in the poker rakeback world, tempted to take a peek at LAC seeing as I only live 30 mins away.
 
Was exhibiting at ICE last year at Earls Court. Was pretty busy to be fair. It's at the Excel this year, right next to my apartment, may as well pop in to see who's balling this year. Novomatic's stand last year cost them £250k for the 4 days...
 
Although I'm not planning on going this year, I've been to ICE/LAC three times in the past. If you're in gaming then it's always worth going, especially if you're nearby. The propaganda they're sending out this year says that they are expecting the biggest shows yet. ExCel is massive, I was there in October for a Salon show. It would be interesting to see ICE there instead of Earl's Court.

I for one, totally agree with Barry and super. The darkies are a major problem, that if left unhandled could force good, hardworking Britons to have to work harder.

Nick Griffin is a lovely man, and Nigel Farage is in no way a grinning moron. In addition he would be totally capable of running a country.

Looks like we're heading to a restaurant sometime on Friday 8th in London if people are up for it.
