Hi,

We are launching our new site, Tattoo Vault looking to build our galleries. If you have a tattoo and aren't too shy, send me a photo (.jpg or .jpeg) of at least 320 x 240 resolution, along with the category of the photo (goth, tribal, chinese, etc.) and we'll place it in our gallery.

In the future, we will be expanding with tutorials on how to create tattoos, a store, featured artists, etc. We also open to suggestions if you have any of those.

Thanks

I don't regret getting any of mine, but I do wish I would have thought it through more first. If I could start over, I would get a more unified theme, rather than a conglomeration of tats that have a loose theme.

Since I still have a leg with nothing on it, I plan on actually doing that in a Japanese / Yakuza style. That's what I would have preferred overall. A "jacket" so to speak on the upper body - full back, sides and arms.

I would have regretted *not* getting mine more. :)

Our "good girl" Laura has a tat!?! Awesome! Can we see it? ;)

I would have gotten a tat If ever I could have found anything worth branding my skin for life (still would).

...So instead I just got the piercings.

I regret the first tattoo that I got right after I graduated boot camp because it's on my leg. The rest of my work is concealable under a t-shirt but because of the one on my leg, I can't wear shorts without showing it to everyone.

What's the big deal? I like to go places in shorts without people judging me for having a tattoo. That's pretty imperative where I live (It's HOT!). I don't really CARE what they think, but networking is much easier when people don't have pre-existing judgments about you because of your tattoos.

Geekcognito- what is the one on your leg of if you dont mind me asking?

I have 5 tattoos 3 on my back and 2 on my chest. I'll get some photos and get them over to you bluestar

You should make it extra unique with some nautical stars.

Haha. It's not about unique necessarily, it's about a style the I really like. I don't really care for the traditional "sailor" style of tattoo, even though that retro look is coming back.

The other reason I think I like the Japanese style so much, is I'm part Japanese myself. So, anything Japanese tends to pique my interest.

No tats because I donate platelets (blood) and I would have to stop for a year if I got a tattoo.

If I did get one, which I might some day, it would be an ankle bracelet vine w/my kids names on the leaves. By the time I do it I'll probably need another vine for grandkids and another one for great-grandkids!

Wonder if I'll be a GGILF? (great-grandma..........) lol

I'm actually in the process of finding a good artist to try to blend my 3 themes into one. One's an eagle, one's the all seeing eye, and some form of a picture indicating knowledge. Trying to get all of this into one for my right arm (covered by short sleeve).

Any suggestions on someone? Obviously I would prefer free (portfolio is fine), but paid is acceptable as well.. :)

Thanks guys & gals.

I gotta ditto those exact words.

Pic kinda shows the story...
