Obama or Edwards ,or Gore Who are you planning on voting for in 2008?

On the republican side we have bloomberg, richards, arnold, biden, ron paul, or mcain

But I would only vote for a democrat after the big screwup called the Iraq war. Why would anyone want to still vote republican?

Abortion and gay rights are not political platforms, they are superficial causes meant to distract the population from the candidate's true political motives.
Regardless of who wins the 2008 elections, the foreign policy of the United States will continue to expand our entanglements in foreign affairs, inevitably leading to more wars and more conflicts.
Nonetheless I'm hopeful that Ron Paul will win despite the opposition he's facing from the media conglomerates.

As long as people continue to see the problems of our country centered around a struggle between Democrats and Republicans, we'll continue to be fucked. The road paved by the lesser of two evils leads straight to hell.

Besides, the Democrats voted for and funded the war, even as they began to talk about "time tables". The only candidate that consistently vetoed every aspect of the war is Ron Paul.

If anyone but Ron Paul is chosen to compete with the democrats in the presidential election, then the democrats have it. Otherwise, I don't see one person who can honestly go up against Ron Paul when he finally gets some media coverage. At that point, the race is already won.
