I checked my account now still have it, it was so easy to game them. Sign up for big account enter all your sites and keyword, then downgrade to a free account and it would still track all the data for you. Too bad that it was as accurate as the british people are attractive British people among world's ugliest, according to BeautifulPeople.com - Telegraph

That website should really be named aryanpeople.com

Even the token ethnics on there have aryan features, just a slightly different colour.

New management team, completely revamped full-time support team as well as a totally new software platform.

We are looking to re-establish our brand and earn back the trust of the SEO community.

We know our predecessors really messed things up and the new team is looking to make things right again.

We know it will take some time to build the trust again.

December 28, 2012 Update on changes
First and foremost, we are deeply sorry for the recent down time in our service.

Before the holiday weekend, our domain was migrated to a new registrar and despite being told that our name servers settings would be transferred as well, they were not. Because we were enjoying the holidays as most of you were, we noticed the problem far too late, and for that we are very sorry.

Umm say what!?!? I'm going to do you a HUGE favor and find that idiots need to be banned on here thread and nominate you for that prestigious award!

If you paid more that $1 to aquire that sh*thole product/brand - you paid to much for it!

And if you think for one minute you can go around and pretend that nothing happened and the arrogant, pretentious actions of the two fools that ran that THING before (really I can't even call it a service, since even a beta service works some of the time and that crap never worked from day 1). You are sorely mistaken.

Microsite Masters has that shit on lockdown. I also heard some assholes released a free rank tracker that's 1000x more accurate than sescout ever dreamed of being for all the broke asses.

Great paid service. Good free service. Take a seat over there.
 
How about refunding the money back to the OP for a start.

1) Be sure to release a step by step tutorial on how to remove PayPal approved recurring merchants.

2) change your brand.

3) add a service that solves a new problem. You don't stand a chance as just offering a rank tracker.

MSTeacher & Celtik: We do not offer free accounts anymore - and are focusing on providing a much better service to the paid accounts.

imbo55: Thank you for your feedback. If we wanted to pretend that nothing happened - we would not have posted public apologies on the blog and would not engage in dialogue around this. As I said to Dresden14 - we know it will not be easy.

crossfittn: We may consider a new brand in the future. For right now we do still have existing customers that we are focused on taking care of. We did post on our blog about company being under new management and us working hard to re-establish trust.

Grindstone: While we won't compete on price (Free is hard to beat), we do believe we will be able to compete on usability & innovation.

What we are planning to do is to give anyone free months of service equivalent to the time that they had been charged after requesting a cancelation through the ticket system (we kept an archieve of all tickets for last year so that we can verify and emailed all those folks already)

Matt3: Thank you for your constructive feedback. We stopped taking paypal subscriptions alltogether. And we are indeed planning to add a lot more then just rank tracking over time. For now our main focus was to take care of existing clients by providing good support, revamped reliable software etc.

so much fail. you probably took away Paypal so people can't cancel and you can hit the card every month until its cancelled.

as already mentioned, there are outstanding free and paid services that already have traction in the marketplace. you're entering too little too late. And competing on usability? you do realize this is a dime a dozen service. What else would you compete on, if not price or usability?

Hold up a minute. Your idea of business ethics and customer service is instead of issuing a refund to people for payments that should never have been deducted, to offer further access to a "service" that they do not want?
