It was a cheap shot, sorry. I should've left it by just referring to the fact that only one major developed country still has the death penalty. That speaks for itself.

As for US (and UK, as unfortunately it is intertwined) foreign policy, how does it feel to be in the minority? I was there when I opposed the war on terror on September 11th 2001. Bush's comments that day made me sick and still stick in my head. "There will be no distinction between the terrorists who committed these acts and those who harbour them...". It's been nice to slowly become part of the majority.

One of my best friends got raped when she was 13, the emotional damage she got from it is pretty huge. You saying shit like human rights? You know what they should do to him? They should lock him up with other prisoners so he gets his real fucking punishment, I hope he gets ass raped everyday for the next 20years.

Ok, maybe the term "major" was too vague and statistically incorrect as it seems Japan is more "developed" than the US. (Although if you take large cities out of the equation and I'm sure the picture would be different.)

Replace it with another vague term, "western" and add "for ordinary crimes" to make my comment more accurate, sorry.
