Now that I think about it, it's more of an announcement than a contest.. ah well, $200 is $200 and 200,000 total posts is 200,000 posts.

Yay, congrats WickedFire! Hey Jon, can I get the $200 for celebrating this wonderful occasion :) Also Jon, if this is a cause for celebration, where's the boob post?

All Moderators, the forum Admin (Jon's partner) and Owner (Jon) should be exempt from this contest to avoid a conflict of interest and insider shenanigans.

Even if nothing shady occurs, the aesthetics just won't look good if any moderators, admins or owners are allowed to participate and win in this contest.

I also call for a larger $2000 prize to get the forum members (somewhat more) excited.

I also call for all members who have a post count under 10 (otherwise known as noobs, noobies, newbies, nubs, pricks) to be disqualified from participating in this contest.

It's better to just go with common sense here...the person with the 200,000th post gets $200,000.

isn't this post 200,000? http://www.wickedfire.com/200000-post2.html

How does VB calculate total posts? if a post is deleted, does the post count drop?

Nah, that actually counts all forum posts, even if they are deleted (ie banned member) and posts made in the paid areas and staff areas. So it can't be counted that way. But in the Admin panel it shows statistics, and you can just do a lookup and find out who did which post and find the genuine post number that is logged.

I'll take part in it

Now where did my topic and post go in the affiliate forum? :anon.sml:
Do my topics have to be approved since I am new?
