I liked it. Nothing wrong with loving America.

Though, in this story I'd be Charlie. Because saying that you "worship" something should make you stop and think "wtf am I doing" every time you say it. "Worship"?
 
Because in other countries, people can't argue about politics, go to church, or afford hot dogs.

EDIT: And does he even know what hot dogs are made of? Not sure if that's something I'd brag about feeling blessed to eat.

lol right on. This guy represents the typical white peasant that never leaves his country because his view of the outside world is shaped by CNN.

If only he knew what type of delicious organic fresh foods he could get for under a dollar in all those so-called 3rd world countries... He probably thinks all these countries are surviving off white rice, wheat and corn supplied by the United Nations and only he gets to have all the best food options.
 
I really like American people (at least the ones I met in North Carolina on a trip there and also when I worked for Hewlett Packard for two years) - they seem open, un-cynical, 'up for it', positive, but as far as I can see your political class totally sucks.

Though I am coming to see that every political class in all nations suck.

Interesting point. I would say that there are more countries that can speak politics, go to church and afford healthier choices than hot dogs than the opposite.

in fact freedom in the U.S is nothing but an ignorant illusion in my opinion. watching this video is a perfect example of this propaganda. This topical low information person that see's his little world from mainstream media television.



but how does one actually define freedom??

I live in costa rica which is a small little country and I feel I have more freedoms here than back home.

I don't get that weird feeling here as I did back in the states when the police lights get turned on behind me as I am driving.
