Not every video has the option of skipping ad.
I think the Youtube staff regularly monitor WaFo. Try whining there, maybe they will hear you and immediately stop the ads, and change their business model for your free viewing pleasure.

I agree, I get annoyed when it's a 30 second video and I have to wait 15-30 seconds for the ad to run first. But that's only because I remember the days when there were very few ads on videos, now it seems like almost all of them have ads.
But yea, we are marketers, a little hypocritical for us to be complaining about ads especially when it's our livelihood.
