Police and social workers apologised today for not protecting vulnerable schoolgirls who were sexually abused and exploited by a paedophile ring.

The admissions of failure which saw the girls being drugged and raped when they were supposed to be in the care of the authorities came as seven men were found guilty of a catalogue of offences including rape, trafficking and organising prostitution over eight years involving girls as young as 11 in the Oxford area.

In dramatic scenes, fighting broke out in the dock at the Old Bailey as two other defendants were cleared.

Two sets of brothers, Akhtar Dogar, 32, and Anjum Dogar, 31, and Mohammed Karrar, 38, and Bassam Karrar, 33, were convicted along with Kamar Jamil, 27, Assad Hussain, 32, and Zeeshan Ahmed, 27.

Mohammed Hussain and a man who cannot be named for legal reasons were cleared.

The seven men found guilty of offences against the six girls were remanded in custody for sentencing next month.

Judge Peter Rook told them: 'You have been convicted of the most serious of offences. Long custodial sentences are inevitable.'

Zeeshan Ahmed struck out at Mohammed Hussain after Hussain was cleared. He struggled as dock officers lifted him up and out of court.

Police missed several chances to catch gang members before they were finally arrested.

There was something on Sky news about one of the girls was turned away from a police station with the threat of being being charged with "wasting police time". Whoever was responsible for that should be held responsible and sacked.

Now the tax payers have the burden of supporting them while they sit in prison for 15 years or whatever the going rate is these days. Why not ship them back to Pakistan and let them do their time there?

You guys are all a bunch of fucking bigots, and you disgust me. I've happened to have studied the quran for a very lengthy period of time and under sharia law these kind souls have done absolutely nothing wrong.

Fuck you all, may allah have mercy on your rotten souls.

Allah akbar!

Those who are blaming one religion or another. You do realize that this was due to the state placing kids in foster homes designed as for profit institutions? Institutions which by their very nature (all institutions try to self perpetuate regardless of their relevancy) will cover this shit up. Kudos to the Brits who decided to blow the whistle on this shit.

This goes on all over the world. I knew a guy who was brought up in an orphanage (the US). The shit he told me he went through still sends shivers down my spine. And it was done by the followers of the Judea-Christian religions (not that that matters; marginalized kids in every country, every skin color and every religion generally get the shaft by society)

I read that one state in the US declares 0% of all children in foster homes get abused. That sounds accurate, right?

Edit, I looked it up for the non believers;

Right, because white, English speaking Caucasians have never raped anyone or been pedophiles.

It's not that being racist is wrong, it's that being an idiot is wrong.
This would be a strong point if you could show just one instance (and not dozens) of English speaking Caucasians operating as a team to rape and/or pimp out underage girls selected primarily on not English speaking Caucasians.

To be a muslim i feed sad these guys are giving bad name to islam i am not here to start another never ending debate but just want to make it clear that in Islam never ever allows this and in fact has already set it punishable which is hundred stripes ..

There is a pretty well done film on the topic. And guess what? Those guys never got any trial, since they enjoyed diplomatic immunity.

Also, even though I can't be bothered to look it up, I'm sure plenty such issues have happened during the 180+ military interventions by the US armed forces alone during the last 120 years; colonizers tend to not treat natives very well (never mind all the interventions by the Brits)

(BTW, if you are a complete ignoramus, the least you can do is use the mighty google before pulling facts out of your ass)

P.S. White Brits are considered Anglo-Saxons, not Caucasians. Caucasians come from the Caucasus region. Dumb-ass.

police and army have unpunishible rapists so racists can shut up already.

BriGette McCoy described how she was raped on her first military assignment, two weeks before her 19th birthday. She described how, later that year, she was raped by another soldier in her unit. Then came sexual harassment by two officers -- including one who requested that she be moved to work directly for him, she said Wednesday.

Testifying before lawmakers, the former Army specialist described the "anguish" and "entrapment" she felt, and the horror of the ordeal that followed.

"I no longer have any faith or hope that the military chain of command will consistently prosecute, convict, sentence and carry out the sentencing of sexual predators in uniform without absconding justice somehow," she told the Senate Armed Services Committee's subcommittee on personnel.

"It even starts at recruitment," she said. "We have quite a few of our men and women that are being raped and sexually harassed during the recruitment process."
