It's actually pretty handy. I had my web history turned off so it has to learn who I am. But have heard from alot of people that didnt have their history's turned off that it's like "google is thinking for me". Or "google knows exactly what I want" blah blah blah.

I'm sure you would have much better experience on Android, but even on IOS it does some stuff that's way beyond anything apple is capable (for now)of producing.


Or is Google now just another way for Google and the .gov to spy on you?
 


I am sure the .gov is going to be tight super tight with Gxxgle and already are. Probably training younger people for Gxxgle jobs of the future. If they aren't doing that, they slippin.
You can bet .gov is giving gxxgle programs to run for them in order to profile t3rroists, gayz and SEO's. :-)

Love google now. Packages, restaurant/hotel/travel reservations, alerting me if there's bad traffic on my normal way home from work and advising an alternate route, displaying scores for my favorite sports teams, pulling up my latest direction/map searches on the desktop on my phone, etc. etc. The list goes on and on.

He may be referring to running it on IOS. Im up for an upgrade in the next month and wondering if Now is a compelling reason on to switch to android? The google voice is far superior to Seri.

I jumped from an Iphone 4s to the Galaxy S3 on my last upgrade. I can go either way. I like this phone. I'm sure I'd like the S4 and I'd be happy still having an iphone too, although they haven't done much to innovate or impress me lately.

As long as I can call/text and check email I'm happy. The jump in speed to 4g LTE from 3g was a huge leap forward, but I think you can get that on the Iphone 5.

As for Google now I like it a lot. I already assume they collect my personal data, may as well put it to use. It does come in handy, and it's pretty good at predicting what info you want, weather, sports scores...

One thing that really surprised me is when it sent me tracking info on a recent amazon order. It automatically pulls the tracking info from Gmail (I'm assuming) and sends you updates.
