I don't know where you are getting these CPMs. We only get a $2.50 CPM on videos and have multiple with a million or more views.
We actually just got $40k from a large company that runs multiple channels and recruits partners (starts with M and ends in achinima) to do a mini-series similar to the Halo one.
Would be interested in chatting about people that you might know that can score us these high CPMs.

Macklemore was already well known in Seattle for years.
It was the same thing with the grunge movement and Nirvana, Screaming Trees, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, etc. They all toured the local club scene and built a following before the rest of the world finally heard them on the radio. You can't buy that level of success.

i was earning $2.5 on my channel when well updated, without signing on to a network.. I've been partnered since before 'monetization' option
I had various brands bid pretty high on my projects with over 1 million views.... ....... but if i don't update, those of course go down.
Advertisers watch for how frequent you're hitting numbers.
I'm thinking about partnering with Full Screen ........... I have friends getting $5CPM on new networks but figured, i'd rather sign with the so-called #1

We are partnered with M right now, and our contract ends near the end of the year. They locked us in at two years after we had just gotten denied by YouTube partnership.
We have over 50k subscribers, but our numbers on views are kind of hit or miss. We always get a minimum 10k-20k per video, but it's not uncommon for a video to hit a few hundred thousand views and of course we 3 or 4 with over a million views.
We're going to be shopping for a new partner situation here pretty soon so like I said, I would be interested in getting some information on these high paying networks.

what i discovered 2 days ago goes to show this forum is full of people who don't know NOTHING about half of what you speak.
I just joined onto a company that finds the best advertisers for my YouTube videos.
The CPM is $10 for my first offer... $5,000 cap but none the less, it's also an offer from the company. Not from a major brand.
Lol You guys might be sleeping on this one. Tip for the wise though.

Oh, it was me who called you Edward.
Let me tell you something. You're not the first person who comes up with idea. Most of these ideas are torn apart by WF community. While many of WF members are clowns many others are smart guys with plenty of experience and success.
They give advice in the specific WF way. Often if someone thinks the idea is not sound he will ridicule it. You should really listen to these negative comments and check especially who are they coming from.
I don't remember the "idea thread" which end up with a OP coming back after a year saying "Look suckers I've made it now you can lick my balls you pathetic idiots because I was right". (was Clyde an exception - don't remember).
It's your time, it's your money. You are free to do whatever you want.
If you succeed come back here and share - this community is ready to accept it was wrong.
