Would you be interested a real estate investment trust?

Just a quick note of congrats - I know you've been working hard on this for a while... awesome to see it come to fruition. Good luck!

We're going to record everything and sell videos on the website at some point (Monthly rebill + Upsells with an affiliate program). I'll make sure everyone here has free access to the backend though once we roll it out.

Just as a quick update we've already bought one property, half way through rehab and are looking at a pretty reasonable equity gain of $60k.

Hoping to go into contract Monday on property #2 with a equity gain of $23k.

So far so good, the big thing now on my end is to develop the video project/portion of the business and give everyone the gore they want.

How are you finding the properties? Short sales, auctions, fsbos, listings?

Sounds intriguing, keep up the good work.

#1 was a foreclosure, #2 is a FSBO.

Looking at 4 properties next month - Two 'normal' auctions, one foreclosure auction and one word-of-mouth referral.

I've been talking to a friend today about getting set up to take professional videos of the properties and the whole leadup to buying the properties. After that point we'd shoot video of the rehab process, renting it, ect.

I want to produce pretty decent videos for the membership site we'll be producing, but don't want to spend significant amounts of money on it.

Also planning on selling a monthly recurring course with plenty of upsells.

Don't cheap out on the videos. If you do pro quality vids with good editing, sell it the right way and you'll make more on memberships/upsells than the properties.

Yeah.

I started talking to a friend of mine who does really great videos & commercials for various companies.

He's helping me get set up with the equipment. According to him as long as I have the equipment, and am willing to send the videos to a quality editor they'll come out looking great.
