always easy for a fool to lead fools
Seeing as you claim to have at least 2 writers signed up to do this for you, yes I'd say it's apparently fairly easy for a fool to lead fools.
take things out of context and use it how you may
There was nothing taken out of context. The project you were talking about in that thread was very clearly the same project that you're talking about in this thread.
In that thread you asked the question of what it takes to make a content site that's worth $1 million and in this thread you are sure that this site is guaranteed to be $1 million site. So, I'd say the two are very clearly related and therefore my statement was not out of context. Maybe you're confused about what the word context means. Or maybe you have two separate million dollar projects in the works that you don't have any money to pay for.
I don't know. I guess either one of those is plausible.
Guess you missed my video clowning around with ~30k cash or the various rooms in the 3 story house i bought off internet business ?
I must have. If that's the case, good on you. However, you said you made the sale of your internet business (one of them anyway) in 2008. That was 5 damned years ago. If the video was made then, that doesn't mean you have that now. If the video was made now, it seems like maybe you'd have some money to pay your writers. I mean seriously, you turned down $12/500 because it was too high before you even knew the quality of the work. Based on the the comments from others who apparently know this girls work I'd say that you'd be getting a hell of a steal to have her write for you at a rate $2.40 per 100 words. If she decides to continue with this career after she's done with school she'll eventually learn that she'll be able to charge anywhere from 5 to 20 times or more than that for her services and never be worried about not having any work.
Then there's another thread where you're talking about selling your ecig website and business for $12k or whatever. That's great, except that you then went on to say that it was making at least $400 a day. That means that at minimum you sold your business for a grand total of 1 months expected revenue.
If that's the case, why would anyone put their trust in you that you would broker a good deal when you sell this site. Selling a business for one months revenue is bad business, I don't care how much you need a lump sum of money. If you've got records showing your income on that, you shouldn't have too much of a problem getting a small short term loan from a bank. Wait a few months and get more data and a longer track record and then sell your business for at least 6 times the monthly rev and likely substantially more than that.
On the other hand, you're probably just full of shit.
I did that only after you guys kept challenging me ..... just to put you in your place honestly.
Like I said, haven't seen the video unless you're talking about the one in the YouTube thread. In that case, all I saw was a woman posing and half dancing next to a pair of Jordan's. She appears to be standing in front of or in some short of shower. But that doesn't prove anything. For all I know, you went to Home Depot, bought a mid-range shower stall and wall and set it up in your basement to make that video. Hell, you might even have returned it after the video shoot.
Videos don't prove shit. Do you think the movies that Hollywood makes are all real as well?
lol Believe the users of this forum if you want.... behind their facade of an image & username in Wickedfire if you choose.
So, I'm confused here. Am I supposed to believe that everyone here is full of shit and you're the only honest one. Or I am supposed to believe that you're also full of shit. Because from what I can tell, you have spent an inordinate amount of time on here attempting to "prove" yourself and position yourself as an expert on various things.
In my experience, people who take that approach are often guilty of the whole "fake it till you make" culture. I tend to avoid taking anything those personalities say at face value.
seriously... WHO CARES about other people's business so much? that's REALLY doing it? Lol
Well, I don't really care about your business. But seeing as my livelihood is made from copy/content/publishing industry it pains me to see writers falling for this pie in the sky stuff. If they're going to write 10 posts a day for a year with no guarantee of ever seeing any return on their work, why wouldn't they just start their own site, build their personal brand, and find a way to monetize that.
See, because at one time I was so hard up for cash that I wrote for people at the kind of ridiculous wages I'm guessing your looking to pay. That was even though I had tons of published clips, a degree from a top 50 school, and plenty of experience. But I positioned myself horribly and was in a such a bad place in my life that I didn't even believe in myself anymore.
That's not the case now. And now I'm in a position to actually pay writers a fair wage for quality work. And then work with them like an editor would. I get tired of having to listen to their horror stories about writing for "opportunities" such as the one you're offering. They're better than that, more talented than that, and it gets old listening to how many people are willing to take advantage of them.
So I guess that's why I jumped in this thread. I saw it earlier in the day and just kind of ignored it. But then you went ahead and said you were looking to get a years worth of work from multiple people without paying them and I just couldn't stop myself from calling bullshit.
