Dunno if this was posted before, but this is a nice piece on my favorite seed company, Greenhouse Seeds from Amsterdam, it's founder, and their trips to search for genetics around the world.

The subject matter is quite diverse and they are quite prolific, so it all depends on what you're into. Just get stuck in and try a few...

I'm sure you won't be terribly disappointed. I particularly liked the series from awhile back on the gun producing region in Pakistan that no one had ever filmed previously.

They just got a regular series on HBO, you can torrent all the episodes.

The one on Nigerian Oil Pirates was pretty fascinating as is the one about the Philippines and the insane amount of political assassinations they have there, and it also goes into the black market gun manufacturing they have there. They have several on North Korea that are good. I would also recommend the one on Chinese Ghost Towns.

Cool story bro. Arjan is a good marketer for sure, but if you want serious genetics Mr Nice, Serious Seeds and DNA genetics is where the party is at. Or so I've heard. Apparently.

I'm not proud but I have been known to read the odd Vice article off my Macbook pro, whilst drinking my soya latte and eating falafel in Shoreditch. So edgy.

On a serious note though there was a GOOD (depressing) documentary on Afghan recently, the Mexican Mormon one is well worth a look, as is that HBO series generally.. Fucking loved watching Dennis Rodman jamming with the glorious leader, bwhaha wtf!
