How much money do you spend on groceries?

About $200-$250 a month. I make a lot of slow cooker recipes which make heaping portions for very cheap. I hustle to survive man, when I go to Sprouts I put the wrong labels on my food so it's cheaper. If the clerk says anything I hit them with pocket sand and get the fuck out of there.

Isn't it amazing how much less your grocery bill is when you don't buy beer, wine & booze. Of course I've never experienced this first hand...

LOL! I used to go to the you-check-out lanes at KingSoopers or Walmart at 1am and ring mad shit up as bananas.

Thats how you get $.69 wild caught salmon yo!

I need to start doing that again ;)

Also, here is another money saying tip: If you like starbucks and order the same drink every time you go, just keep their cup and wash it at home. next time you go, ask for a refill of your drink instead of ordering a new one. It'll only cost $.50 instead of full price :1bluewinky::1bluewinky:

This place gets more Jewish every day.

I honestly don't know specifics, but I would say maybe 500/a little more each month? The closest thing next to me is a Whole Foods, and my soul/bank account dies a little each time I have to go into it.

I'm pretty strict on my diet and now avoid restaurants and cook stuff at home.

I recently got a juicer and, after looking at my budget, I realized that it costs me about $10 each time I make a glass of veggie juice.

This makes my monthly budget ~$700/month for groceries.

This sounds outrageous to me for some reason since I'm a single dude who lives by myself.

I guess I can frame it to myself that it is the cost of groceries and "health insurance."

Fuck.

Family of 4, going on 5, and we spend -maybe- $600.

Right now we do ~$300 once per month, and maybe one little run between big trips trip for $75 or so. And then every Saturday we do farmers market and spend $40-60 on fresh produce and dairy.

We eat super healthy for the most part, and have pure fruit smoothies 4 or 5 times a week.

Guess I'm glad I live in a small town?

Around $75/day. I mainly eat porter house steaks and flounder / sea bass / scallops. Have not used my oven since thanks giving. Grill every meal.

Can't wait for stone crab season to start. I am going on pure stone crab diet.

We spend a lot unfortunately, especially considering we are in Mexico and should be enjoying that nice exchange rate for the dollars we makin'. I'd say $500/mo and on top of that we eat out a lot, together and separately bc of work. I'd say I eat out 5 or 6 times a week and he eats out 8 or 9. (Figuring 21 meals a week total) We also feed our employees that work at the house.

I don't know how much he spends on whiskey and I probably don't want to.

Family of 6 - we spend around $800 per month. We also juice, but it only costs $16 to make around 1 gallon... don't know where you're buying your veggies. Food is cheap in Chicago so that may help.

Also - we buy all our meat from farmers - organic or free range. We have two deep freezers where we put 1/2 a cow and our other bulk meat purchases.
