Anyone taking advantage of these? I know next to nothing other than the fact that it seems it will be legalized soon...and when it does I imagine there's lots of money to be made.
There are canadian companies further along (pharma products or in business for several years now) than companies here in the states. There's a THC mouthwash company and other pharma companies using pot.
Here in Seattle I was thinking of opening a hash processing company. Basically growers bring their harvested plants and you make bubble hash out of it. Make 50gal drum batches at a time for each grower, throw a webcam on it so they can see that you put all their plant matter in and can see what it produced. Then either charge a fee or % of the finished hash which you can sell to dispensaries or whatever. When I grew I would have loved to convert it to hash.
Here in BC legalized weed is supposedly going to cost ~250 an oz or 15 a gram.
Weed here is 60-120 an oz. mainly free since everyone knows someone with a license.
Legal weed will not be big for a while (in canada)

I wouldn't bet on any of those small startups. I heard that big companies like Monsanto have been quietly getting their fingers into weed r&d overseas. When full legalization breaks out they'll be in a position to own it.
In WA state we legalized recreational pot and the way the law was written there can't be jumbo distributors, there's a maximum land area you can farm under each license.
As with any stock, do enough research to the point where you know more about a company that the majority of traders know about the company.
Choose an investment strategy, invest, observe and calibrate.
Good luck to all those stoners looking to expand their awareness and deepen their pockets.
