Please note this is JUST a retail store and not online and its just electronic cig lounge no tobacco or anything.

I think the general concenus is that tobacco is on it's way out. I see alot of people who strongly opposed the choice to neglect to cater to the tobacco crowd, but I think this may actually work to your advantage, catering to the younger generation millenials or "hipster" crowd.

Any chance your design is a futuristic "Apple store" type? It might create the right atmosphere and make it a cool place to hang out for forward thinking people. I believe this would be in line with your demographic as evidence by the mere fact they are interested in e-Cigs and this might subtley let them know that you know why they are there. This would also help for selling more expensive "premium" brands as they would feel they are purchasing something of high value.

Just my thoughts.

Is federal regulation in the near future worked into your planning?

well cig as bad as they are.. still arent band.. and maruajauna is getting a lot of support for it to be legal.. and e-cig unless they find out for some reason its killing a shit ton of poeple is not any worse then those two so i dont think it will be banned.

probebly taxed.. but what isnt by the gov these days?

very much like that..with couch a bar a xbox station.. basically a cool lounge..

Tobacco is a 35 billion/yr industry. America was founded on Tobacco. Tobacco is not on it's way out :)

Best of luck to you, OP.

I love my ecig (tornado), though I still smoke regular cigs daily. The best part of ecigs is the wicked selection of vapes. Check out Totally Wicked E Liquid if you haven't already. How does your flavor selection compare to theirs?

Would love to see pictures of your lounge, too.

You missed my point. I was asking if you had worked in the costs of licensing, taxation, etc to sell ecigs.(impending) Just curious how much of a profit margin you're working with.

I don't get it...

eCig store?

Why though..

I can buy them at any gas station and be on my way (they usually have a handful), or online at home. If I smoke cigs I can also get a pack in a flash at the gas station.

What would make me walk over to your store, or drive out of my way to pick up an eCig? Price doesn't matter... If you're smoking chances are you don't really care about how much a pack of cigs cost, you just want them now. Unless it's like $10 savings or something, just doesn't seem worth it.

Tobacco has been around forever, it won't die out anytime soon.. But ecigs are new, their hot but how long will that last?

First, tobacco currently being a 35 billion dollar industry means nothing. Tobacco is literally being regulated out of existence. In Calgary starting next year more or less, the only place you will be able to smoke is in your own home.

I can't imagine how short sighted you would actually have to be to not think that in 20-30 years (yes I plan for the long term) tobacco will be a non factor as our ever increasing knowledge of its horrendous effects on the human body are, which even today I'm sure we only know less than half of the harmful effects on us really are.

Also, Blockbuster is closing all of its video rental stores. Good riddance.

When something infinetly better comes along, the paradigm changes very rapidly. I know that there is completely different context to consider when comparing the two I'm merely pointing out who the fuck would have thought 15 years ago, that blockbuster would have went out of business. They were literally a fucking giant. It's hard to imagine now, but when I place myself in what I think the future will look like I actually find it hard to imagine tobacco being smoked at all.

I would definitely chill at a place like that, but I'd want it more futuristic hookah lounge-y instead of "Apple Store".

I'd like to see an ecig replace a nice fat Nicaraguan ligero-laced stogey.

Kidding, I see your point. Just keep in mind tobacco/nicotine have physiological addiction fighting the war for them.

I am a regular hookah smoker and SINCE I am so regular at it, I wanted to smoke it all the time. This is when I heard about vaping and E-cigs. I got ego-T set off the internet and tried it. It was an overall pleasant experience but I felt that it was just too warm/hot to puff for a longer period of time.

The fact that you want to see some real dense smoke doesn't help either. The only real way to produce more smoke is to increase the wattage which in turn makes the smoke hotter.

If you could put some thought into building a cooling process for an e-cig you are potentially looking at a while new business here. The easiest and most robust way is to pass the smoke through a water container. I hope the idea helps open up new pathways.

Vapor is key. Let me know if you would like a sample of ours (we whole sale and retail). Ours is made the USA and super high quality. All the vape stores around here are selling SHIT juice.
