That makes 3 now; 4 if you count the Winklevoss trust.

I've heard on bloomberg TV that a lot of new US volume is from actual wall street traders buying for themselves, too. Unless we have a hard crash somehow, I expect wallstreet to embrace bitcoin trading within a year or two.

Bitcoins: Worth more than gold but still can't get bitches.
The hell you say! Snoop dog is accepting bitcoin on his next album, and you gotta admit this song is pretty cool too:

It's a pretty catchy beat mate and I got to admit someday we'll be able to whip out our BTC phone wallets and flash it to girls and she'll instantly want the D but the time is not right yet.

Damn, this is actually happening at a scary pace:

Bitcoin fund raises $65 million after first two months, founder says | Reuters

So even Accredited investors (by the SEC, must have $1M invested with them already) are buying up the coins already.

What does the owner of this fund (CEO at Secondmarket) have to say about bitcoin's future on wall street?

SecondMarket CEO: Wall Street Will Put 'Hundreds of Millions' Into Bitcoin | Reuters

I may need to revise my above statement to the spring.

Hold them tight boys, hold 'em tight.

inb4 wall street manipulates bitcoin and causes wild price fluctuations. Oh wait...

I thought the charm of bitcoin was that you didn't have to deal with wallstreet and investment banks and all the other puppets of the illuminati?

Despite the sarcastic tone, I'll bite.

The more people that embrace bitcoin, the better. The more people that have bitcoins the more people that will spend bitcoins, a domino effect if you will. Soon retailers will be rushing to implement bitcoin payment systems on their e-commerce stores, soon brick and mortar stores will be rushing to install bitcoin payment terminals and so on and so on. I remember watching a video a few months back from the dollar vigilante saying bitcoin will hit $25,000. I laughed and then said, yeah, no.

Now I'm not so sure that sounds so far fetched anymore.
