Now that is crazy shit right there. I wonder how François Hollande hasn't been hanged yet.

For the U.S. we've been over this, it's the military operations mainly and lots of other shit. Costs a lot to be the world's powerhouse.

For Canada, it's healthcare + roads + rough winters damaging everything. This country is too big and costs a lot to run it from coast to coast... to coast (north).

But again, France... I don't get it. 75 fucking percent.

The Tea Party was formed in reaction to 8 years of Bush and his overspending on things like military. And as bad as Bush was (and he was fucking bad), Obama has been worse in almost every category. That's quite an accomplishment in only 5 years.

75% is only for the richest and if you think that they are really paying 75%, you're just being silly. Beyond that, the French need to pay for all the same things as Canada, and everyone else for that matter. US taxes may be low, but the country's infrastructure is crumbling.

On the upside, France has what is widely regarded as one of the best health systems in the world.
