If you had someone who had a product and wanted your services marketing said product using Facebook ads, how would you structure the deal?

I'd like to control the account myself and simply give out reports to the client which allows me full control and no access to client, thus giving me leverage down the road.

I plan to ask for each monthly budget up front to fund FB account and then have him pay me hourly (estimated hourly for month billed 50% up front).

I'm not sure how to handle reporting though. What is the least amount of info I need to send him?

Is there anything else you guys would do or change for this type of deal?

Our agency sells something similar, but instead of billing hourly we bill a % of the spend, similar to a PPC campaign.

Before you start your campaign you should define your goals. Are you trying to get leads, sales, social shares, page likes, email addresses, etc? Establish what the purpose of the campaign and then set up the proper channels to track it.

Reporting should be focused the Cost per _____, the rest is up to you. One thing I like to do is to take the image / images I'm promoting and briefly describe who the ad's target audience is, and why. They'll feel like you know what you're doing, and when you say "I'm displaying this ad to your #1 competitor's facebook followers", they'll think you're some kind of genius.

That's a damn good idea.

So do you run ads for your clients on your own FB account?

How does the account get funded? Pre-pay by client?

OP - just charge minimum wage and work for a couple hours each day.

If you work 2 hours each day, for 5 days a week...you'll profit around $80 a week.

Keep in mind this is before taxes, so you may profit something like $60 a week.

Good luck bro

Yes, we will create new accounts for each client, that we control.

The account is funded by their Credit Cards. We have it on file for monthly billings, so it's a non-issue. However, you can have them login and input their CC info, or collect that information from them yourself.
