thanks that's actually what I was looking for. I'm actually surprised there arent more "anti police" sites out there with tons of this footage. I found one of a cop who shot a guy 4 times. I'm guessing he was using 9 mm...the guy hit the floor and that was it. Over. I'm really shocked at the reaction from a lot of people on here. Especially seeing all the crazy shit that gets posted here. Then here I come looking for some shit and everyone gets all butthurt and acts stupid.

9mm with good ammo (HST, GD, Ranger-T) will be 90% to 95% as effective as 40sw. The primary differences/benefits over 40cal will be cheapness of practice ammo, and higher mag capacity.

I personally carry a 9mm Glock 19 with HSTs and don't feel undergunned.

If you want to go further, look into underwood ammo's 147 grain gold dot +P+ ammo. Hottest, best 9mm ammo on the market, has more energy than most 45acp in production by a very large margin.

Shootouts are messy things that can often be random. I can show you instances of guys being shot 10, 20 times and live in the end, and other guys who get shot with a 22 and are DRT.

I've done a good amount of shooting, sometimes with cops, sometimes without cops and sometimes with total shitheads that scare the crap out of me because they have a firearm and no concept of why I don't want to get shot.

You are evidently looking for unjustified shooting video where cops play a role.
That's fine. Most of the videos I've seen of cops "abusing" people are actually pretty reasonable responses to nut case/way drunk individuals. Does police abuse exist? Of course, but promotion for strictly monetary sake is something I can't get behind.

Maybe you should go to a range with a friend and actually shoot a couple rounds, Then wave your firearm around in your friend's direction. Dumbfucks.

I've shot guns since childhood, why the hell would I point it at someone? I can't believe how this thread has pissed so many people off. I'm not looking for any particular type of video, just curious to see how a human actually responds to being shot with different types of ammo i.e. which ammo would be best in a self defense scenario. I found a few on reddit and a ton on youtube, and even some that have been shown on court tv...yet everyone here is either trolling me, or they think I'm some kind of psycho for being genuinely curious. I found a video on youtube that was shown on court tv of a guy getting out of his car and opening fire on a cop car, the dashcam caught him being shot once, and then he continued to fire an ak47 into the cop car before finally collapsing.

^^ Yeah but how many of these videos accurately describe the kind of ammo used in the shootings. Not many. In many cases, unless you get a good clear look, you might not even be able to tell what kind of weapons are being used, and as you already pointed out above, not all ammo is created equal. A shooting with on type of 9mm maybe be dramatically different from another using a different kind of ammo in that caliber, which you will never know about and so these videos offer you little to no accurate research data.

Already answered the question in that a 12ga shotgun is the best self defense weapon in a populated area. You aren't going to take out neighbors, but you have a fairly wide aim option on closer targets.

Any type of fucking ammo is effective at stopping people from attacking you, only difference is the amount of time you need to spend cleaning the carpet lol.
